Thank you for visiting our website.  We're glad you've stopped by  and we hope that you will also drop by the church on any given Sunday.  We have two services, in English, then Korean. Occasionally, both the English-speaking and Korean-speaking congregation will come together for a joint service.

New Heart Mission Church was planted in April of 2009 in Manhasset, NY.  Christ Church of Manhasset has graciously provided access to their facilities to grow our ministry.  The church is located in western Nassau county, not far from the border of Queens and via the Long Island Railroad, New York City's Penn Station is just a 40 minute train ride away.

The vision of NHMC is to build a church which is steadfastly built on the foundation of the Word, prayer and worship.  We hope to abundantly fulfill the ministrial needs of our local Long Island community. We also desire to specifically reach out to the growing population of 1.5 and 2nd generation Asian-Americans who are unchurched and left the church after college.  What comes after youth group, college ministries and English Ministry (EMs) or English Service Ministries(ESMs) that exist in the Korean church?  We say that it is "church".  A church from great-grandparents all the way to the newborn.  That's the kind of ministry we hope to build with God's leading and help.

The ministry is focused on the restoration of our relationship with God and with each other.  We believe that relationship is the key to healthy and happy relationships with our spouses, family, friends and community.  The world today is filled with people who suffer from broken hearts, marriages and relationships.  Most of this stems from past internal conflicts, struggles and hardships that were never truly resolved.  God desires to free us from all of this and restore us completely.

New Heart Mission Church is specifically focused on Preparing the Next Generation, and the Building of the Families.  The challenges of cross-cultural misunderstandings and dysfunctional behavior in families are building a hurtful gap between the generations, and more specifically, in individuals.  With children and parents and grandparents drifting further away from one another.  We believe that only through Christ and the return to worship, the Word and through prayer, can we rebuild and build up healthy, happy families united in the purpose of glorfiying our wonderful God.

Finally, the third part of the NHMC's vision is missions.  Both locally and globally, we would like to reach out to the lost and weary, as well as raise up, equip and send out missionaries throughout the world.  NHMC is also dedicated to the active support of missionaries.  This means financially and prayerfully, but also means visiting and supporting missionaries in the field on a regular and ongoing basis.
